PMTG Executive Management

The top two PMTG executives have an average of 24 years industry experience and have each been with the Company since it began operations in 1992.

Dallas Knepp, Chief Operating Officer
Joined PMTG in 1992, possesses 29 years of industry experience.
Mr. Knepp has over 28 years of operating management experience in the automotive transport industry, including delivery of production material, after-market parts and finished vehicles.  Mr. Knepp joined PMTG in 1992, and is currently responsible for the overall profit and loss of the business, through direction of the operations, safety and maintenance departments.  His primary responsibilities, among others, include proper and efficient use of human and equipment assets, delivering on customer vehicle distribution objectives, maintaining customer relations, overseeing insurance administration compliance and managing cargo and accident damage prevention.  Prior to joining PMTG, Mr. Knepp was the Operations Manager for Robin Transport.  At Robin Transport, Mr. Knepp was responsible for managing the terminal facilities, central dispatch and the company’s drivers.  Prior to joining Robin Transport, Mr. Knepp spent six years with Leaseway Transportation Corporation in various capacities including Terminal Manager, Maintenance Manager and Field Supervisor.  Mr. Knepp has a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology and an Associates degree in Building Construction Technology from Lake Superior State College.

Joe Jacobson, Chief Financial Officer
Joined PMTG in 1992, possesses 19 years of industry experience.
Mr. Jacobson has over 23 years of varied accounting and financial management experience primarily in service industries with emphasis on financial modeling, accounting, computers and systems development. Mr. Jacobson joined PMTG in March of 1992 as the Controller and Manager of Information Systems.  Now serving as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Jacobson oversees the Finance and Information Technology departments of PMTG.  As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Jacobson holds direct responsibility for  PMTG’s financial management, tax compliance, corporate liability insurance, human resource benefit administration, insurance programs, corporate information and communication systems and facility management.  Along with Mr. Lasch and Mr. Knepp, Mr. Jacobson shares responsibility for analyzing the Company’s current business operations, generating and analyzing new business opportunities and managing customer relationships.  Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Jacobson held managerial, accounting, and engineering positions at Target Programs and Electronic Data Systems.  Mr. Jacobson received a B.A. degree in Finance from Michigan State University.
